This year's beneficiary is the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU).

Re-energize and revamp the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) therapy gym through themed designed space to support the “One Step Closer to Home” vision with the investment in new therapy adaptive equipment and addition of artificial intelligence/advanced technology interventions. Every patient admitted to the ARU utilizes the therapy gym daily for therapy interventions and sometimes twice a day during their admission. By investing in state-of-the-art therapy equipment and cutting-edge technology, we aim to enhance the overall patient experience, patient outcomes and attract new patients from our primary and secondary service areas. This proposal not only focuses on upgrading the therapy gym's existing facilities but also aims to create a modern and innovative environment that meets the evolving needs of the patients in our community.

Mercy Health Med Assist

In addition to the ARU gym investment, part of the proceeds from the Golf Classic be directed to the Med Assist program to support nutrition supplements for qualifying patients being discharged from Springfield Regional Medical Center and Mercy Health Urbana Hospital.
